re_spring is an unofficial tool that lets your convert your Retrospring data export back into an HTML webpage! Your data is not uploaded anywhere. Everything happens right in your browser!

step one: export your retrospring data

Retrospring is shutting down March 1, 2025. They anticipate you will be able to export your date until September 1, 2025. This tutorial was written prior to shutdown. You can skip to the next step if you already have your data exported.


Log in to your Retrospring account and export your data from: https://retrospring.net/settings/export

Once your export is ready, download and extract the .zip archive.

step five: upload to a static site host

Upload your re_spring.html file to a static website hosting service. A couple free options I recommend are Neocities and Nekoweb.

That's it! Your archive is now accessible as a website.
